Customer’s Dilemma and Target

Founded in 1996 and devoted in IT market, Aitec has become a professional consultant and offered full solution from PC system to medium size enterprise. Aitec (www.aitec.it ) is also running as an Internet Service Provider for the whole Italian territory.

Recently Aitec needs to provide a solution for wireless communications among 5 city halls in the province of Modena. These city halls belong the so-called "Unione Terre di Castelli" and need to share many information and database.

Micronet Solution

After completing the project request verification and available brands on market evaluation, Aitec decided to adopt the Micronet :

• The products were easy to use and to install
• The connection was very stable
• The technical support offered by the Micronet technical department and official Italian distributor was very good and in time

With Micronet solutions, Aitec is able to cover a wide area, up to 150 squared KM.

The whole project practical application contains each City Hall has been equipped with the same products for the wireless connection:

• Omni - directional outdoor connection:
• SP915 Wireless LAN Outdoor Bridge：for peer to peer connection establishment
• SP920MA Omni-Directional Antenna：for two Access Point linkage between two places such as two buildings
• Directional outdoor connection:
• SP915 Wireless LAN Outdoor Bridge：for peer to peer connection establishment
• SP920PA Directional Antenna for long distance signals transferring up to 30KM
• Or SP920FB Directional Antenna for normal signals transferring about 10KM
• All the client sites in each city install proper station adapters for signal communication according to different application
