The OneBridge Mobile Solutions Platform 4.2 Service Pack 1 release, recently announced, offers support for more devices and streamlines enterprise-wide deployments of mobile applications. Notable new features include extended administrator provisioning controls for managing devices, optimized Palm OS® synchronization, and expanded device support.
Key features:
- Provides administrators with extended controls to manage remote devices by enforcing remote installations and updates for on-device components, extended device inventory reporting, and configurable installation packaging tools.
- Extends certified* support for new mobile devices, including the Nokia 9500 Communicator, Sony Ericsson P910, Sprint Harrier (HTC Blue Angel), and the Treo 650 smartphone by palmOne
* Note: As opposed to spot testing devices on reference platforms, OneBridge certification involves in-depth testing of device functionality across carriers, regions, and languages. This release extends our certification to over 85 devices across the Symbian, Palm OS, and Microsoft Windows Mobile platforms
